Hemianopsia is a condition that results in partial or complete vision loss on one side of the visual field, typically caused by a brain injury or stroke. One of the most challenging effects of Hemianopsia is visual neglect, where a person becomes unaware of objects or movement on the affected side, either left or right. This can make daily activities difficult, often leading to bumping into objects, skipping words while reading, or misjudging spatial distances.
